Oh how one person can open a whole world!

So I ran into Kelley Crandell at Old Navy the day after Thanksgiving and we exchanged blogs. I am amazed at how just by looking at her blog I have found sooooo many friends that I have lost touch with after high school. I am amazed at how much everyone has grown up and their cute families. Please add yourselves to my "followers" gadgett on the right so I can see you guys too! Please let any friends that I know that are private to invite me to theirs so I can see their families too. Thanks! I love this bogging thing!

Twilight virgin!

Ok......ready for it.......I still have not read any of the Twilight books! I know I know.
I'm finding it really hard to read Twilight. Todd tried to read it and said it was sooooooo cheesy that he couldn't finish it. "butterscotch eyes" and "sparkling vampires"!?!?! I don't know about that. I think I should see the movie first. Then I won't be disappointed by it at all. I have it on my Ipod but I am reading another book and listening to another one in my car so I think I will wait until I'm finished with one of them to start another one. I'm taking all the girls words for it that it's a good book and that Todd is too much of a guy to understand. Oh well. Shannon at work thinks they are good but at the same time very "sparkling" so I hope I don't need to wear sunglasses to read it!! I think I'm probably the last girl to read this book. I do, however, hope that whoever got a copy of her draft for the next book and put it on the internet dies of gonorrhea. (haha not really) but who do they think they are. What a horrible thing to do to someone trying to make a living. Now she won't release that book for a while and I know all the Twilight fans are livid!!! Sorry guys. Maybe I'll join you in the siege to find and torture those who have done you wrong. Loves!

Freestone Park

Pretending to play chess at Freestone Park on Veterans Day.

Carder was VERY interested in all the flying birds at the park. He pointed and said "oh oh oohhhhh" everytime one took flight.
Feeding the ducks and creepy fish that would pop up through the water and splash everywhere. The water was so murky that you couldn't even see them when they were right next to the surface. We had fun throwing the bread to the ducks and watching them fight over each piece. Carder kept throwing half a piece of bread into the water and the ducks would go crazy trying to keep the whole piece to themselves. Silly!!!

Big Yellow Ball

Carder's cousin Ethan (in the background) got this really cool ball for his birthday. You can climb inside and bounce around or someone can roll it around with you inside. The boys thought it was awesome!

I just wanted to rave about Carder's new preschool teacher. Miss Kerry is the teacher at Little Acorns Preschool and she is awesome! She has done wonderful things with Carder. He talks up a storm now and has so much fun interacting with the other kids. She does such a good job teaching and helping us teach Carder too. It gives my mom a break (she watches him while Todd and I are at work) and keeps his imagination going, going, going! She teaches him Spanish and sign language, she has story time, show&tell and does the coolest activities to help them learn. I can't say enough about Kerry and her wonderful program!
Oh and I forgot......she is British so she has this really cool accent!

Carder and his cousin Allie. She was Wolverine and he was Superman!

The whole gang. Out for some fun and lots of candy!

Mommy couldn't resist grabbing a picture with Superman!

After Carder figured out that he got candy just by walking up to people he would walk up to anyone no matter what they were dressed in!!!

Carder went up to this house all by himself. Such a big boy!!!

Carder insisted on pushing his stroller instead of riding in it. Hey....that doesn't bother me!

We thought this guy crawling on the ground would scare Carder but he just walked past him like it was nothing. He was more interested in the candy!

Carder's cousin Jordan was Wolverine also and wanted to hold his hand when they walked by a scary house to protect him. So sweet!

This clown was the creepiest decoration I saw. I just had to take a picture!

Carder started eating his candy as soon as we were done trick-or-treating. He picked out a Tootsie pop.
Carving Mommy and Daddy's pumpkin. Carder wanted to help soooooo bad. He was a good helper!

We tried to carve a picture of a cat but it turned out to be waaaaay more work then we were ready for. We just turned the pumpkin around before we punched out the pieces and carved a funny smiley face. Much better!!!
